Becoming a new franchise owner is a milestone in anyone’s life – it’s a significant accomplishment, and something to be proud of. Not everyone has the courage, drive, and determination to start their own business. Help us welcome these women (and moms like you!) into our special Rhea Lana’s community.
Starting a new franchise business can be both rewarding and challenging, but these women are not alone in this journey. They have the support of a network of the Corporate Team, Mentors and fellow franchisees who offer training, guidance, advice, and lots of encouragement along the way.
Let’s start with the Brand NEW Rhea Lana’s Locations!
Rhea Lana’s of Lawrence – Kansas
Meet the Owners:
“We are so excited to be bringing this amazing shopping event to Lawrence and surrounding areas! My name is Kasey, my husband, Mike, and I have been married for 4 years and are the proud parents of Kelce, our 14-month-old little boy. Life with a little one is crazy and so much fun, he is our whole world! Rhea Lana’s has been a fantastic resource for me as a new mom and I can’t wait to bring it to you in Lawrence. I am very proud to have my mother as a partner. She has been married to my father, John, for over 32 years and they are parents to 3 fabulous kids…Myself, my sister Cali, and brother Joe, who is a current KU student. We all have love for the Lawrence community! We can not wait to serve the families of Lawrence and give back to the community.”
Jodie and her family are Louisiana natives but moved around a bit as a Marine Corps family. They’re excited to put down roots in Acadiana and share the unique opportunity of Rhea Lana’s with their community. Fun Facts about Jodie: “I’m a Northwestern State grad, self-proclaimed foodie, and sparkle addict. I love traveling and snuggles with my pups. “She says, “we aim to provide a unique and rewarding shopping experience. Our events offer high-quality, gently-used children’s clothing, baby gear, and so much more. We prioritize affordability without compromising on quality. Whether you’re a parent looking for fashionable outfits for your little ones or looking to turn your kids’ items into cash, we’re here to make your shopping and consigning experience a breeze.”
Helen and her husband, Case, live in Thibodaux with their two children Avery & Andie. They work, go to school, and play ALL the sports in South Louisiana. They thoroughly enjoy traveling as a family and are always down to explore somewhere new. When we’re not traveling, you can find them at one of four places…home, the soccer field, the football field, or fishing in Grand Isle!
In 2018 she inadvertently discovered Rhea Lana’s in Baton Rouge! She says, “I started consigning with Rhea Lana’s, and was beyond thrilled with the amount of my first consignor check! Not only did I discover an easy way to sell their gently-used items, but I was making MORE money than what I was spending on the next season’s wardrobe! Rhea Lana’s allowed me to dress both of my kids in excellent quality, name-brand clothes at bargain prices! My dream of being an entrepreneur, passion for the consignment event concept, and “Acts of Service” love language were the perfect recipe for Rhea Lana’s of Houma-Thibodaux! I consider it an honor and privilege to link arms and serve families across the parishes of Lafourche & Terrebonne. I’m so excited to bring this to our area and can’t wait to help families along the Bayou Region.”
Becca and her husband Brandon live in Cedar Lake with their three children, Jacksen, Jolene, and Danielle. She says, “We live, go to school, and play LOTS of baseball/softball here in NWI. On most days of the week, year round, you can probably find us at a ball field, batting cage, or sports complex! We are fortunate to live on 6 acres so when we aren’t playing baseball, we are fishing our pond, gardening, riding 4-wheelers, or chasing chickens!
I found Rhea Lana’s 13 years ago when I was pregnant with Jacksen. I was thrilled I was able to find high-quality, gently-used clothes and baby gear for him. I was able to find nearly everything I needed for just a fraction of the cost of retail prices. The following season I started consigning and was quite shocked with the amount of my first consignor check, in the best way possible! Not only did I discover an easy way to sell his gently used baby items, but I was making MORE money than what I was spending on the next seasons wardrobe! Once the girls came, I needed to purchase 2 of everything. Rhea Lana’s to the rescue!! Shopping Rhea Lana’s allowed me to dress all of my kids in excellent quality, name brand clothes at bargain prices!
My dream of being an entrepreneur, passion for the consignment event concept and “Acts of Service” love language were the perfect recipe for Rhea Lana’s of Northwest Indiana! I consider it an honor and privilege to link arms and serve families across Northwest Indiana. I’m so excited to bring this to our area and can’t wait to help families within the communities we love.” Connect with this sale on Facebook here.
Rhea Lana’s of Amarillo – Texas
Meet the Owner:
Kaitlin is no stranger to the Rhea Lana’s world! She’s worked with Rhea Lana’s of Midland-Odessa for the last 5 years. Born and raised in Amarillo, she has deep roots in the community. Together with her husband and two gorgeous girls, they farm and ranch in Midland County and the panhandle. They understand the struggles of raising a family while keeping costs down, and that’s why they exclusively shop at Rhea Lana’s! She has a deep desire to connect moms and families, providing an incredible way to shop for their kiddos while staying on a budget and fostering a sense of community.
Kaitlin says, “We decided to begin a Rhea Lana’s in Amarillo after a lot of discussion and prayer. Owning a business has never been on my bucket list or any of my lists ever, and I make a lot of lists! I am not the ultimate decision maker here, God clearly has a plan bigger than I did for myself.”
Jessica and her husband of 12 years, Landen, have four children. They are native to Arkansas, and relocated to the high desert in 2019 for her husband’s job. When asked why they moved there, she says, “Simply put, it’s where we’re supposed to be. We have fallen in love with California and the desert. We are big baseball fans, very involved in our church, and enjoy adventuring around Southern California. Rhea Lana’s started in Arkansas and has been a huge blessing to our family throughout the last 9 years of parenthood. We can’t wait to share that blessing with families across the desert through our quality children’s consignment pop-up events.” Connect with this franchise on Facebook here.
Rhea Lana’s of Waco – Texas
Meet the Owner:
Katie first discovered Rhea Lana’s when she was pregnant with her daughter. She says, “I had been to other consignment events before, but once I started shopping at my very first event in San Antonio, I was blown away by the huge difference in quality and instantly knew I had found a hidden treasure.
After having my daughter I found myself suffering from extreme postpartum depression. I went to my second sale when my daughter was about a month old and was overcome with feelings of joy. Not only was I happy to find so many amazing deals, but the women working the event were so kind and welcoming. They spoke to me like we had been friends for years and building those relationships helped me during those hard times.
As my daughter grew I started consigning with Rhea Lana’s. I was so excited to have one central location to sell all of my items instead of trying to meet people through Marketplace and deal with all of that stress. My very first check was over $500 and I loved the fact my unsold items were being donated to local foster children. I am so thankful I was able to join the team of Rhea Lana’s of Northwest San Antonio. Over the years I worked multiple sales and formed even more relationships with other moms who worked the events and moms who were consignors at the event. It was such a beautiful community being created.
I knew my purpose was to take that feeling of community and build similar relationships with others who may be in similar situations I had been in when I found Rhea Lana’s. I knew I wanted to move back to my hometown of Waco, TX to raise my family so decided to take a leap of faith and purchase my own franchise. Fun facts – I love iced coffee, Taylor Swift, and making new friends!” Connect with this franchise here.
The following are existing Rhea Lana’s franchises with new owners!
Rhea Lana’s of South Johnson County
Meet the Owners:
Haylee & Jonathan have been married 4 years, but together for over 10, they have a 2-year-old son named Sutton. Haylee is a Registered nurse, teaching patients house to do their dialysis at home. Jonathan works for the state of Kansas in emergency management. They said, “We saw the extreme value in the items at Rhea Lana when we shopped at our first RL event when our son was only a couple months old. We actually lost out to a pretty sweet train table because we didn’t buy a pre-sale ticket. From then on out, we always bought the pre-sale ticket. We love helping other families find affordable quality items as we know how expensive kids are.”
Brandi (far right) is a “Jesus lover, mom of Tex (16) and Myles (8) and wife to Dr. Zack Nollin. I enjoy watching Thunder basketball and Chicago Bears football… when I’m not watching my boys play baseball, basketball, and soccer. I live in Edmond, OK with my family and 2 dogs boxer Benny and frenchie Rumble. I’m surrounded by males, even my dogs are boys! I live for shopping, decorating my house, holidays, celebrations of any kind and all things girlie… Rhea Lana’s color wheel is just one of the many reasons I’m such a fan. My first experience with Rhea Lana was when I shopped at the RL Broken Arrow sale and fell in love. I quickly became a consignor and the rest is history!” Connect with this franchise here.
Rhea Lana’s of Tyler – Texas
Meet the Owners:
Meet Mother-Daughter duo, Beth & Alison! They recently moved to Tyler a few months ago from Dallas. Alison (daughter) has been married to her husband of 10 years and has 3 children; 6, 4,and 1. Beth (mother) has been married to her husband of 36 years and has 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren ranging from 6 years to 3 months! They said, “Rhea Lana’s mission to Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. is near and dear to our hearts with all these kiddos in our family! We’re both from Dallas but moved to Tyler this spring. We are so excited to become a part of this amazing community!”
Another Mother-Daughter Duo – Taylor & Trish. Taylor & her husband have been married for 5 years and have a beautiful 2-year-old girl. They both grew up in the Houston suburbs and are excited to bring this upscale resale event to their community! Trish, also known as Mimi, is the greatest supporter and biggest cheerleader on the team! They say they have a love for all things resale!
Cathy and her husband, Phil, I both grew up in SC but have lived most of their adult lives in GA. She says, “We have twin girls, Allie and Abby, who have just started fifth grade. They may be twins, but they could not be more different – which means we need double of ALL the things! My first Rhea Lana’s experience came with Savannah’s first event as 2019. I actually signed up as a vendor before I became a consignor! The girls were 6 and had just started expressing their opinions about clothes and shoes to the point where I couldn’t easily convince them to just wear what mom picked out. I had a few things around that we were done with so I consigned a bit that first event as well just to see how things would go. The girls had a fantastic time picking out new things that suited their individual tastes and we’ve been hooked ever since.” Having been part of all of Savannah’s events over the last four years, she’s very excited to take on ownership!
Monica is no stranger to this event! She served on the Northwest San Antonio Operations Team for 7 years before ultimately becoming the new owner. “My favorite part of owning a franchise is the ability to give back to the community. I love that families can sell their items at affordable prices to other families who need those items. It’s a win-win situation. And the fact that we give foster families in the area the opportunity to shop the donations first and for free is the most rewarding part of being an owner.
Aside from Rhea Lana’s, I am a mother of two boys, 9 and 12, and have been married for 15 years. Both my sons are on the spectrum, so when I am not busy working RL, I am spending my time advocating for my kiddos. I have a deep interest in working to change policies and legislation for children with disabilities, especially in education. I completed the Texas Partners in Policymaking program, which helped me become more knowledgeable in advocating for people with disabilities.
I have a degree in Psychology from UT Austin and a work background in media relations and website content producing. On my free time, I enjoy riding my dirt bike, watching football and cheering for the Longhorns, and spending time with my family.”
Jessica and her husband, Mike, have two adorable little girls, Lillian and Evelyn. She says, “I heard of Rhea Lana’s when I was pregnant with our first daughter, at which event I shopped and then became a consigner. Before long, I knew that running my own Rhea Lana’s event was what I wanted to do.”
Shelley and her husband, Steven, live in Dallas, Georgia, with their two “ballers”, Brady, who is a Senior, and Bella, who is in 7th Grade. She says, “After spending 19 Seasons with Matilda Jane Clothing, I just knew that taking over Rhea Lana’s of Cartersville would be the right choice. Over the years, we were able to build something that goes beyond just being a Children’s Consignment Event – we created a Family, a Community, and a Higher Purpose. I am eager to continue the work we started, grow in new ways, and help introduce even more families to Rhea Lana’s of Cartersville.”
