Rhea Lana’s – Celebrating 15 Years of Franchising
Time flies when you’re having fun! Last year we celebrated 25 years since inception, and this year is our 15th anniversary of franchising!
Often times people think we operate as a “traveling show,” but our franchise owners live in the communities they serve and host bi-annual pop-up events that support and help families in their area.
In 1997, Rhea Lana Riner hosted the first sale in her living room, with no plans of ever becoming a businesswoman. Over the years, she kept trying new things, learning more about business, and finding the right formulas with marketing, customer service, establishing systems, and more.
Out of the desire to serve more families with high-quality and affordable shopping, the events expanded out of Conway, Arkansas. Initially referred to as the “Children’s Clothing Exchange,” Rhea Lana’s Children’s Consignment Events became a staple for many families to earn a paycheck off outgrown items, and purchase high-quality pieces for their growing children.
Fast-forward to 2008, Rhea Lana’s little sister Ashley started the first Rhea Lana’s franchise. After much success across Arkansas, Rhea Lana’s began expanding its {sustainable} footprint across the country.
Over the years, Rhea Lana’s has grown into a nationally recognized, award-winning franchise system. Rhea Lana’s started as a business to serve young families and has experienced tremendous growth over the last two decades; however, the core values that were instilled in the company at its inception: integrity, charity and honesty still prevail.
