Congratulations to our 2021 Franchise Owner of the Year!

It goes without saying how much work small business owners always put in - but especially since the pandemic began in early 2020. Each of our franchise owners have worked creatively, and incredibly hard to continue serving the families in their communities. For working moms and entrepreneurs, it can often feel like no one sees all the hard work that is put in every single day.

Requirements for franchisee of the year:

The primary requirement for franchisee of the year is that the owner has a successful and growing franchise.  In addition to being a successful business owner with a healthy bottom line, the owner must also embody our company values and display leadership throughout our franchise network of owners.

Winner! Rachel Grote - Rhea Lana's of Lexington, KY

We asked the Founder and CEO, Rhea Lana, why Rachel Grote was chosen as franchisee of the year:

"It was truly my honor to award Rhea Lana's of Lexington as our 2021 Franchisee Of The Year.  Rachel is one of the most humble people I have ever met. She has a huge heart for people and she is the hardest worker at her events. She has an amazing team, and leads them well. She is always learning and growing as a franchise owner. We are really proud of her!"

We asked Rachel, were you surprised when you won?

"Yes, super surprised, but so excited!  On stage during her award acceptance, she joked to the other franchise owners, "I'm a really good copier - so thank you!"

What do you attribute your success to?

"I’m very lucky to have an amazing team and a wonderful community of consignors, shoppers and workers in the central Kentucky area. I'm excited to share this award with my team and my community."

What would you tell a new owner?

"I would just stress how important customer service is and also how important it is to work hard and never give up! Also have fun, even on the late nights!"

What are you most excited about in your business in the coming year?

"We just continue to be super excited about providing  central Kentucky area with an upscale consignment experience."

Congratulations, Rachel and Rhea Lana's of Lexington, KY! If you're ever in the area during her event, stop by and say hello!
