Now that the holiday season has officially arrived it's time to bust out your red and green wrapping paper, dust off those sparkly holiday shoes and whip out your holiday cookbook! That’s right, peak party time is here to jam-pack your next 3 weekends with family gatherings, festive parties, and work functions.
As a child, this was remembered as the best time of the year since you had time off of school, got to see family who lived far away and of course, received presents and festive activities at every gathering! But as kids get older their attention spans seem to lower and turning on a Christmas movie as entertainment just won’t cut it!
As our little ones grow not so little, ensure they are having just as much fun as you are by decorating the kids’ table with fun activities. This way, they will stay happily busy while you have time to chat with friends and catch up with family.
Kids’ Table Activity Book
Kids’ table activity books are great for quiet coloring time or collaborative games like a reindeer name generator! FTD created an awesome kids’ table activity book that you can download and print for yourself!
Download the printable kids’ table activity book and print the pages double-sided on cardstock for best results. Stack the sheets on top of each other in order, so that the cover of the booklet is on the bottom and the snowflake coloring sheet is on top, then fold the sheets in half. Poke two holes through the pages on the fold, about three inches apart. String twine or ribbon through the holes and tie in a bow.
You now have an activity book perfect for decking out a kids’ table or bringing to a function for your little one to work on. Hopefully, you’ll find these quick tips useful for your next holiday party or gathering. Whether you are hosting or attending it’s always a good idea to spend a little time planning some simple entertainment ideas to ensure your little ones kept busy. You’ll be thanking yourself once you receive that much-needed adult time. Happy holidays!
