Many people had Spring Break trips planned, or at least had some fun Staycation activities for the family. But life as we know it was interrupted. We were told to self-quarantine. We're mostly stuck at home trying to balance both fun and education for our children - and ward off stir craziness.

Take a brain break and have some FUN!

Have a dance party to some of your favorite music.

Do some crafts or color.

Build a blanket fort.

Exercise together.

Play a board game, dominoes or cards

Play Hide & Seek.

Cook together.

Read together.

Clean together. (It's a great time to sanitize all lunch boxes, backpacks, wash coats, etc)

Build something from Legos or blocks.

Have a Nerf war.

Do a puzzle.

Sends cards to relatives.

Get some fresh air. Take a walk, ride bikes, shoot some hoops. Color with sidewalk chalk.

USA Today compiled 100 suggestions to help make your time quarantined as interesting – and perhaps even as productive – as possible.

We can do this, parents! Most importantly, we must remember that our children are watching and learning important life lessons from us right now. Stay positive, friends.
