Troubleshooting For Printing Labels
Here are some things to check if you are having trouble printing out labels. The printing works, but if you try for a long time and don't get it, either get with a friend who printed successfully or check with us. This is fairly technical - don't let this frustrate you too long!

Your goal is to line up either your labels or your cards so they print out correctly. For Labels - 30 on a sheet. For Cards - 8 on a sheet. For Cards there is a gray "T-bar" at the top of each page. If the bar codes are spilling off onto the next page, something is not set up right. Check through the issues below to make sure your set up is correct. It will always work if things are set up correctly. Thanks!

1. Making the Barcodes Appear - Go to Tools, Internet Options and click the Advanced tab. Go down and put a check in "Print background colors and images."
2. Browser must be Internet Explorer. Not Netscape, Firefox or another browser. If you have Explorer 6.0 it works well. But for the new Explorer 7.0 SEE # 4 BELOW.
3. Page Setup - Make sure all the settings match these. For Labels - No Headers. No Footers. Orientation is Landscape. Margins at .25", except Right, which is .50". For Cards - NO headers, NO footers. orientation is Portrait. Margins at .25", except Bottom, which is .50". If your printer won't hold these margins, you'll have to use another printer. Some Fax/Printer combinations won't hold these margins.
4. For Internet Explorer 7.0. Microsoft tried to make "improvements" moving from Explorer 6.0 to 7.0. This causes us an EXTRA STEP to make things print correctly. Explorer 7.0 auotmatically prints everything with a "shink-to-fit" setting. We have to change that to "100%."

a. Go to Print Preview.
b. You'll see the option "Shrink to Fit" selected. Change this to "100%."
c. Choose the printer icon in the upper left corner (circled in red.)
d. Then choose OK.

5. Text Size - The default setting for Internest Explorer is Medium. Text size must be on Medium. Text size is under "View."
6. Font - The default setting is Times New Roman, which works. If you have changed it, it needs to be changed back. Go to Tools, Internet Options and click the Fonts button.
